SAKE
Sayuri is a soft, floral noted nigori. Hints of white grape and elements of cherry blossom tie in seamlessly to create a lush, creamy saké with a deliciously smooth finish.
Tempting flavors of tropical fruits, banana cream, hazelnut, vanilla and honeycomb with floral, fruity and mellow rice aromas, mildly carbonated.
This sake contains complex aromas of white grape, anise and a hint of sweet rice followed by a hint of white pepper and fresh herbal notes giving it a long, clean finish.
A complex aroma profile touching on steamed rice, cream, slight toffee and a hint of plum skin. This nigori is the complete package for those looking for a subtle, chewy and creamy sake that has flavor waves of nuts, ripe fruits, toffee, earth tones, and a tinge of banana.
This savory sake is inspired by local legends of Niigata’s annual fox–bride festival. Intense aromas of grilling nuts, pistachio, and hint of white chocolate. Ripe honeydew notes finish crisp with a hint of sweetness.
This rustic, high acid sake is a great representation of traditional Junmai style that you would find throughout Japan. Dry and crisp, the flavors are dominated by mixed nuts, fresh cut green grass and other earthier flavors. Medium-bodied with a rich mouthfeel, followed by a lengthy and dry finish.
A fruity nose of lime and melon with bold hints of fennel, white pepper and allspice. Brewed by one of Japan’s only female brewery owners and tojis, the flavors gravitate to ripe cantaloupe and anise while the minerality from the soft water is evident in the finish.
This yamahai junmai is mellow, well balanced and low in acidity. It is rich and dry, yet loose and relaxed on the palate with notes of roasted chestnuts, brown butter and honey.
Junmai Daiginjo is regarded as the highest-grade sake. This sake is made inside an igloo in Hokkaido, in Japan’s extreme north. This superstar drinks clean & bright with a cool fruit pick-up that is uplifting and refreshing. Look for crisp hints of melon, radish, peach, and ripe pineapple flavors. There is a tickle of acidity that pops like white pepper and mint.
Pure Night is produced by a historic brewery in Akita, Japan that dates back to 1656. Delicate tropical aromas of melon, lychee and pineapple with the floral hint of honeysuckle. The flavor profile is light, layered complexity with subtle citrus and melon notes. It has a long, delicate, dry finish that lingers gently on the palate.
This junmai daiginjo is inarguably one of the most prized junmai daiginjos in the sake world. It is deep, luscious and layered with big but well-balanced fruit flavors characterized by honeydew melon, peaches and pineapple.
